How You Can Help

Serve your community by making a difference in an animal’s life

Become a foster home

Some animals need extra love and care in order to live their best life. These could be a nursing female with their litter, an injured animal in need of recovery time, an especially social young cat or dog, or an abused animal looking for one on one attention and a safe place to recuperate.

We’ll provide you with everything you need to take care of your animal, and even give you the opportunity to foster to adopt.

Volunteer at the shelter

All it takes is a love for animals and a minimal amount of time.

Volunteers assist our full-time staff in their daily activities, as well as provide love and attention for our homeless animals.  From bathing and walking animals to visiting local nursing homes, there’s lot’s of ways you can help.

Donate

Gibson County Animal Services relies heavily on monetary donations to help cover the costs of medical bills, vaccines, medications, lab work, animal food and supplies, equipment, and everything else directly related to the care and well-being of the animals housed at our shelter.

We also gladly accept donations of items such as food, kennels, dog toys and leashes, garden hoses, and more.
