Ready to adopt? Awesome!
Here’s the plan:
Step 1: Call us and schedule an appointment
We’ll set you up with a time to visit us and meet the animals.
If you haven’t already, take a look at our available animals!
If you already have chosen a pet you’d like to take home, let us know and we’ll make sure you’re introduced!
Step 2: Meet the pets
Our mission is to make life fun and enjoyable for both the you and your adopted pet by carefully pairing the right animal with the right owner. We make sure each animal is adopted into a permanent loving home.
That’s why you’ll always get a chance to get to know the temperament and personality of the animal you’re interested in before committing to adoption.
You’ll be provided with a large exercise area in front of the shelter where you and the pet you’d like to adopt can get to know each other.
Step 3: Start the adoption process
Once you have chosen your new pet, the staff may ask you for a reference. Please do not be offended or upset! We try very hard to make sure the animals passing through our doors go to permanent residence in the best and most loving homes possible.
After we have verified your references, you will be given a copy of our adoption contract to read and sign.
After the adoption paperwork is complete, we’ll give you a voucher to present to your veterinarian to cover the cost of spaying or neutering your pet. Note: All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered. All pure bred animals will be altered prior to adoption completion.
